I would be interested to hear a bit more about your comments on Google being hungry for non-English text, and bilingual sites.

We often recommend that our clients begin by translating the most important content on their websites, including the FAQs as you suggest. When they begin to see results they expand the number of pages that are available in languages other than English. This allows them to measure the results and manage their budget.

I agree CIndy, never use machine translations on a web site. Google is so hungry for non-english text right now. Maybe especially on bi-lingual sites.
